A central portrait of a person with a white headband is overlaid with thick horizontal bands in blue and pink. The background is a solid muted pink, and the composition uses flat shapes and clean lines.

Key takeaway

The design uses geometric layering to create depth and a sophisticated, artistic aesthetic.

Reuse notes

Apply the horizontal banding technique to other portraits for a consistent editorial style.
