Privacy Policy

Overview
Inspiration by VASA Works is a design inspiration gallery. Browsing the library needs no account. An account is only created if you subscribe to Pro. There is no user-submitted content, and we do not sell personal data. This policy describes the data that is collected when you visit the site and, separately, when you create an account.
Accounts and billing
Creating an account only requires an email address. We send a magic link to sign in, there is no password to set or store. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Transactional email (magic links, receipts, account notices) is sent via Resend. If you generate an API key for the Figma plugin, we store only a one-way SHA-256 hash of that key on our server, never the plaintext value, so the key itself is shown to you once and cannot be recovered from our database.
What data is collected
We collect basic, anonymous analytics to understand how the site is used. This typically includes:
- Pages visited and navigation paths
- Referring website or search query (if your browser sends it)
- Browser type, operating system and approximate geographic region (country or region level, not precise location)
- Session duration and bounce rate
For anonymous visitors, this data is aggregated and not linked to any personally identifiable information. If you sign in to an account, some of this activity is instead tied to your account, as described in the Analytics entry below.
Cookies and local storage
We use session or preference cookies only where strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, to remember a display preference within a session). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site behavioral profiling.
The analytics provider we use may set a first-party cookie to distinguish unique visits. This cookie does not contain personally identifiable information and expires within a short period.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The core browsing and search functionality of the site continues to work without cookies.
Third-party processors
We use the following categories of third-party services that may process limited technical data:
- Hosting and CDN — the infrastructure provider that serves the site processes request logs as part of normal operation.
- Analytics — we use PostHog, a privacy-focused product analytics tool, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Anonymous visitors are counted only in aggregate: no profile is created until you sign in. Once you sign in, your activity is tied to your account (so we can provide support, improve the product and guard against fraud or abuse), and that link stays in place until you sign out. Analytics also includes session recordings and click heatmaps of site usage; form fields are masked by default, so text typed into them is never captured. PostHog does not build individual profiles from anonymous browsing, and it does not sell data.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any advertising networks.
External links
Each item in the library links back to its original source site. Clicking those links takes you to a third-party website governed by its own privacy policy. We have no control over and no responsibility for data practices on external sites.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Server infrastructure logs (if any) are retained only as long as required by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes, typically 30 to 90 days. No personal data is archived beyond these periods.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information through normal use, most data-subject rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) apply to an empty set for typical visitors. If you believe we hold data about you, or if you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (including the EEA, UK or California) and have a question or request, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or to reflect new requirements. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
