Offgrid Glass Animation

Summary

A looping 3D animation of a glass slash mark rotating on a black background, made for the Offgrid brand design studio website.

Visual description

A deep black background holds a centered composition where a glass-like 3D slash symbol appears in perspective, rendered with translucent reflections and metallic highlights. Overlaid in large white sans-serif type is the descriptive text centered vertically: Offgrid is a modern brand design studio by Fons Mans. The slash rotates through space with convincing depth and material refraction.

Key takeaway

Use a rotating 3D geometric mark with glass material properties as a background layer behind readable text, creating depth and visual interest without obscuring messaging.

Reuse notes

Reach for this as a motion still reference. Pairs with minimal, 3d directions. Original by Fons Mans.
