Summary
Motion still of a transparent-cased CRT television on a white plinth displaying SMPTE color bars.
Visual description
Clear plastic CRT housing exposes internal boards and tube neck. Screen shows vertical color bars in purple, yellow, cyan, green, magenta, white, and red. Set on white pedestal against off-white wall; dark floor corner visible. Even gallery lighting with soft screen reflection.
Key takeaway
Transparent electronics plus test pattern turns nostalgia into design object. Pedestal presentation signals art context over consumer ad.
Reuse notes
Media installations, Y2K revival, or broadcast-themed events. Motion not visible in still.
