Summary
A playful mobile journal app showcasing a smooth detail view transition where a scrapbook-style diary entry expands from a calendar overview into a full-screen view.
Visual description
A full-screen mobile journal entry rendered as a playful scrapbook collage. Content includes handwritten-style narrative text, informal photos of children, die-cut sticker overlays (rubber duck, striped ice lolly, textured paper patches), and a row of avatar stickers at the bottom. The layout balances typographic and photographic elements with whimsical layering and naive composition.
Key takeaway
Combine casual narrative typography with loose photo collages and cut-out stickers to create an intimate, handmade journal aesthetic in digital form. The asymmetrical arrangement and mixed media approach evokes scrapbooking without feeling dated.
Reuse notes
Reach for this as a motion still reference. Pairs with playful directions. Original by Jay Bong.
