Summary
A custom PSA-graded Topps Chrome Refractor-style trading card designed in Figma with animated holographic border effects built in Framer.
Visual description
A portrait trading card sealed in a clear protective case with a holographic refractor border that shifts between hot pink and cyan gradients. The card features a monochrome photo of a person in profile on a dark background, with a QR code and technical spec text in the top half, colorful pixel art elements (red, cyan, yellow blocks) layered over the portrait, and bold white sans-serif type announcing "KraiG." Black void surrounds the cased card, emphasizing the 3D depth.
Key takeaway
Layer pixelated geometric forms over photorealistic imagery to create visual tension between digital and analog, merging trading card nostalgia with contemporary design language.
Reuse notes
Reach for this as a motion still reference. Pairs with typographic, experimental directions. Original by KraiG.
