Search to Siri macOS

Summary

A slow-motion look at the Search to Siri morphing animation in macOS 26 beta, showing the iridescent orb fluidly transforming into the Search or Ask bar.

Visual description

A landscape frame shows an aerial dusk landscape of rust-lit mountain ridges and layers of low fog under a gradient sky from violet to orange. A dark translucent rounded pill sits in the upper third with a thin light edge, a text cursor, the placeholder Search or Ask in soft gray, and a microphone icon at the right. A small 1x speed label appears at the bottom center.

Key takeaway

Float a dark, frosted pill input over a rich photographic wallpaper so the glass element picks up atmosphere from the image while staying legible with minimal chrome.

Reuse notes

Reach for this as a motion still reference. Pairs with minimal, glassmorphism directions. Original by Apple.
