Summary
A clean, minimal update flow for the Grok Bot desktop app, showing the full journey from update prompt through animated download progress to a ready-to-restart confirmation screen.
Visual description
A near-white screen with a centered stack: a solid black circle mascot with two small white vertical pill-shaped eyes, an Update required heading, a gray one-line message about an unsupported version, and a black pill-shaped Update button with white text. Everything is centered with generous spacing and a single neutral sans-serif.
Key takeaway
Let a minimal character mark do the emotional work of an otherwise plain system dialog, with one heading, one sentence and one pill button. Strict centering and a black-on-white palette keep a blocking state calm.
Reuse notes
Reach for this as a ui screen reference. Pairs with minimal, clean directions. Original by Benji Taylor.
