CD Player

Summary

A playful AI chat interface concept where users pick music by selecting colorful holographic CDs that spin up into a player, each featuring hand-drawn artist label art.

Visual description

A chat interface on a plain white background opens with two grey message bubbles at top left, followed by a large rounded card that holds the response. Inside the card a soft off-white square tile carries a photorealistic gold CD with hand-drawn black marker lettering and a doodled character across its face, rendered with a glossy disc sheen and a subtle drop shadow. Below the tile, five smaller CDs are laid out in a loose two-then-three grid, each in a different iridescent gradient of red-orange, magenta, red-yellow, blue-teal, and green-teal, all labeled in the same handwritten black scrawl with small doodles. Typography is a neutral sans in dark grey for the chat, contrasted against the marker script on the discs.

Key takeaway

Render the selectable options as tactile physical objects with real material qualities like gradient foil and gloss, then keep the surrounding chrome flat and neutral so the objects carry all the visual interest.
