Two printed pieces on black, an orange season programme opened to a dense listings page and a closed cover with an oversized numeral cutting through the title.

A print pairing shot flat on black: an open programme whose left page is a solid orange field of oversized headline type facing a white listings page, and beside it the closed cover with a huge numeral slicing through the titling.
Visual description
The open booklet sits left of center. Its left page is saturated orange with black sans-serif type set very large and ragged, reading "Théâtre de la Ville" at the top and "La saison est lancée!" filling the lower half, the lines stepping inward as they descend. The facing page is white and dense: a "Calendrier" heading with "Automne 21" ranged right, then hairline-ruled rows grouped under small bold category headings for theatre, dance, family Sundays, song, concert music, world music, jazz and variety, each row carrying a title, date, time, venue code and two price columns. A short legal line and a folio sit at the foot. To the right stands the closed cover in olive-khaki, its title stacked in black across three blocks, with an enormous orange numeral 1 drawn over the whole page, its diagonal strokes fanning out through the type. Both pieces cast soft shadows on a matte black ground.
Key takeaway
Pairing a page that is almost entirely display type with a page that is almost entirely tabular data makes both stronger, and showing the cover next to the spread proves the same typeface handles a 200-word listing and a five-word headline. The oversized numeral overprinting the title is the one gesture carrying the season's identity.
Reuse notes
Useful for cultural programmes, festival guides and any print piece that has to carry a schedule as well as a message. The dense listings page depends on tight hairline rules and consistent column widths; loosen those and the page collapses. Note that this frame's brand attribution is inconsistent with its source record.
