One can, shot small in its production environment, so the flat two colour label reads against pallets, grain sacks and steel rather than a studio sweep.
Visual description
The can stands on the corner of a rough wooden pallet in the lower left quadrant, with a second pallet and stacked white woven poly sacks of grain filling the right and upper right of the frame, and the polished base of a steel tank at the far left edge. Light is soft and directional from the left. The can is divided horizontally, roughly two thirds deep green above and one third light blue below, separated by a narrow cream stripe. The green field carries the flat tree mark in pale blue, a straight trunk with two branches and eight leaf shapes arranged in a loose circle, cropped so the outer leaves sit close to the can edges. The blue band holds Lively Beerworks in green on two lines at the left and, at the right, small green type reading India Pale Ale, 6.5% alc/vol and 12 fl oz. The lid is bare aluminium.
Key takeaway
Letting the mark run almost the full width of the can, then dropping all the required copy into a single colour band at the base, keeps the label to two elements. Photographing it at working scale in the brewery does more for the craft positioning than a clean studio shot would.
Reuse notes
Good for beverage identity work where the product has to look handmade but the graphics are strictly geometric. The pale blue on green is low contrast in dim retail lighting, which is worth testing. Pairs with the studio pack shots and the retail display frames from the same identity.
